We are looking for an ambitious End User Experience Lead to join one of the largest companies in their sector. They are currently in the TOP 10 rank within their industry. The End User Experience Lead role is part of the IT Infrastructure team responsible for the liaison between the end consumers of IT services and the Infrastructure teams to deliver them.

This role will be to provide technical leadership to the End User Experience team and liaison back into the business to ensure that business users are provided with timely and relevant technologies, communication, and IT services.

Global standards for end-user computing and working closely with local business users to address their needs by delivering superior technology.

The EUE Lead provides :

  • Leadership in driving continuous service and process improvements and has primary ownership of end-user experience in the office locations globally.
  • Lead by example in showing a sense of urgency and ensuring work is delivered to the highest quality.
  • Build relationships with internal teams that depend on EUE-owned technologies to get their work done.
  • This includes the overall ownership of the technology roadmap, solutions architecture and all aspects of 2nd and 3rd line EUE support.

The successful candidate will bring strong Microsoft Architectural experience, knowledge of Office 365, and modern infrastructure services complimenting a proven leadership track record and customer-facing skills.

The position will report directly to the CTO for Infrastructure and Security however will have to maintain strong relationships across all IT functions including application development & support teams, the regional IT functions, and directly with the Group CIO.

Technical Expertise:

  • Expert understanding of Active Directory, GPO and client O/S management
  • Microsoft Exchange to at least an administration level
  • Knowledge of Exchange online including migration of on-premise services
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, One Drive & Azure AD
  • An understanding of access management including MFA
  • Executive and VIP support needs
  • Knowledge of MDM and client management technical solutions
  • 5 years of experience managing a technical team for both solutions and support
  • Working knowledge of Internet-facing mail relays

Qualifications:

  • Degree Educated
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Technical qualifications

The main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Acting as first-level support for business users in Baar, Switzerland and globally for our CTRM (Commodity Trade Risk Management for Metals) and other applications
  • Performing all support desk duties to assist in day-to-day operations as needed
  • Ensuring proper severity classification and categorization of the reported issue
  • Closely working with business analysts and developers to resolve reported issues and to support the releases and hotfixes
  • Developing fixes or workaround
  • Documenting all steps taken to find a solution in the support tool
  • Problem management and proposal of correcting measures to proactively prevent reoccurring issues; researching for available sources for known errors and whether sample solution, best practice or training content is available
  • Extend and maintain product support documentation for support staff and end users
  • Regular communication on the status and progress of pending issues to relevant stakeholders, reporting delays and unexpected issues while proactively providing suggestions for finding solutions and/or improving processes
  • Involvement in the application testing cycle as part of the business request delivery process

 

Technical skills:

  • Strong SQL knowledge
  • IT development technologies and processes (SDLC)
  • Use of ITIL processes and tools
  • CTRM / ERP experience

 

Minimum requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent)
  • 2-5 years of work experience working on CTRM/ERP
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills
