We are looking for an ambitious End User Experience Lead to join one of the largest companies in their sector. They are currently in the TOP 10 rank within their industry. The End User Experience Lead role is part of the IT Infrastructure team responsible for the liaison between the end consumers of IT services and the Infrastructure teams to deliver them.
This role will be to provide technical leadership to the End User Experience team and liaison back into the business to ensure that business users are provided with timely and relevant technologies, communication, and IT services.
Global standards for end-user computing and working closely with local business users to address their needs by delivering superior technology.
The EUE Lead provides :
- Leadership in driving continuous service and process improvements and has primary ownership of end-user experience in the office locations globally.
- Lead by example in showing a sense of urgency and ensuring work is delivered to the highest quality.
- Build relationships with internal teams that depend on EUE-owned technologies to get their work done.
- This includes the overall ownership of the technology roadmap, solutions architecture and all aspects of 2nd and 3rd line EUE support.
The successful candidate will bring strong Microsoft Architectural experience, knowledge of Office 365, and modern infrastructure services complimenting a proven leadership track record and customer-facing skills.
The position will report directly to the CTO for Infrastructure and Security however will have to maintain strong relationships across all IT functions including application development & support teams, the regional IT functions, and directly with the Group CIO.
Technical Expertise:
- Expert understanding of Active Directory, GPO and client O/S management
- Microsoft Exchange to at least an administration level
- Knowledge of Exchange online including migration of on-premise services
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, One Drive & Azure AD
- An understanding of access management including MFA
- Executive and VIP support needs
- Knowledge of MDM and client management technical solutions
- 5 years of experience managing a technical team for both solutions and support
- Working knowledge of Internet-facing mail relays
