Are you an ambitious Cisco UC Engineer/Architect looking for a role that will let you Cisco's default recommendations and push the capabilities of their full collaboration product suite? This opportunity will appeal to you if you are interested in the following:
Using the full suite of Cisco products, CallManager, CMS, Expressway, Webex Meeting, Video Conference.
Working with on premise systems
Projects migrating many other UC environments to Cisco UC
Integrating large numbers of global standalone sites into the corporate Cisco solution.

Designing and building solutions that vary from the standard bespoke Cisco configurations and challenge Cisco's default recommendations

If you are an experienced UC Engineer with 5-10 years' experience and ideally qualified to CCNP Collaboration or Voice or above; and you are happy to work on site in Switzerland (near Zurich) and hold either an EU/EFTA/Swiss passport or valid Swiss work permit; then please contact us.   
We are looking for a candidate who will join the team responsible for network collaboration engineering & operations in our European Regional Data Centre. In a constantly evolving technology environment, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the road map, design and implementation of next generation collaboration infrastructure solutions and provide high quality support of existing products and solutions.  
The position encompasses the following task:    
Troubleshooting and maintaining existing Cisco Collaboration infrastructure
Troubleshooting, deploying and resolving voice, video, network, wireless and security related issues
Deploying IP telephony services including IP telephony servers, voice and fax gateways
Troubleshooting and maintaining existing fax gateway infrastructure (MGCP, T.38)
Contribute to an evolving global solution design
Take ownership of the preparation and execution of site migrations to the global voice and video platform
Implementing processes, policies, best practices and tools to provide a stable, predictable and high-performance network
 The ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies:
Engineering and Cisco Collaboration  architecture design, including CUCM, CUCN, EWAY, CMS, CUBE  
Supporting business application end-users
Software testing and Quality Assurance in UAT and pre-production environments
Business analysis methodologies
We look for candidates with:
Relevant industry certifications (CCIE Collab, CCNP Collab, etc.)
8+ years relevant industry experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering and supporting solutions within the Cisco collaboration space, consulting or supporting the related technologies within this job description  
Strong engineering focus

Fluent in English
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Works well independently and as part of a  team

Strong analytical skills
An advantage will be given if candidate has:
Additional Cisco Collaboration knowledge of  TMS, TMSXE, SME, Webex, Webex Meetings, PCP, PCA,
additional eco-system knowledge: Imagicle, SAMwin, Uplinx, Calabrio, MetaDirectory
